Regional Occupational Program (ROP)

ROP provides open entry, open exit career technical education and support services that augment and expand the capabilities of the CTE offerings. ROP courses provide instruction for upgrading skills, advanced training, and entry-level employment. ROP courses in general are limited to occupational areas where there is reasonable expectation of employment or postsecondary articulation. Program offerings include both entry-level courses and capstones to existing CTE courses.

All of the ROP courses maintain a rigorous, industry standards-based curriculum achieved through annual ROP advisory meetings for each content area. These meetings are attended by educators, community members, and industry representatives ensuring that the course content remains aligned with industry trends.
